Our story
My first experience with soap making dates back several years, when I created my very first soap with my mom. I immediatly liked the creativity and freedom that comes with the process !
After testing different recipes, I discovered what I liked the most: working with only natural ingredients.
There is really magic with playing with plant oils & butters, essential oils, clays & natural extracts. Each ingredient has different proprieties that they bring to the soap, creating a truly unique soap of bar.

The birth of Neat
After a lot of experiments, failures, and discoveries, I finally developed soap recipes that met my expectations — from their skin feel and skin benefits to their scent and color.
Seeing how well these natural bars worked for my friends and family, I realized they could help others looking for skincare that is both natural and effective.

100% plant based
Each product is entirely made with plant-based butters and oils, such as shea butter, coconut oil, castor oil, and rice bran oil. Each butter and oil brings different properties to the soap.
Super fatted soaps
Our soaps have a superfatting rate of 5%. Each oil requires a certain amount of lye (sodium hydroxide) to be transformed into cold-processed soap. By increasing the amount of oil beyond what the lye can saponify, some of the oils remain unconverted in the final product. This is known as superfatting. Thus, a "superfatted" soap is a cleansing product enriched with nourishing, moisturizing agents, that will the skin smooth after the shower.
Plant milks, juices & powders
We selected and use rich plant-based extracts in each of our soaps, such as coconut milk, colloidal oatmeal, and aloe vera juice. Each of these additives gives our soaps an extra boost of hydration and softness !
Plant extracts, clays & essentials oils
Our cosmetics are all naturally colored thank to plant based powders & clays. Among others, we use for example purple and blue clays, as well as spirulina powder. Our products are scented with natural essential oils. We do not use any preservatives or synthetic agents !
Tested & approved recipes
Once made through cold process saponification, the soap mixture is poured into its mold and must rest for 24 hours, during which it solidifies. The soap is then cut into individual bars, which are left to cure on our shelves for 6 weeks. This allows for maximum water evaporation, resulting in a harder, longer-lasting bar of soap.
This method is a slow process, but well worth it, as it preserves the beneficial properties of the oils and butters and naturally produces a high amount of glycerin!
All our products have been tested by myself (and my partner) and were tested & approved by a toxicologist.
They are compliant with the European Union's reglementation in application for cosmetics.
